Microlink is proud to announce the official UK launch of the UbiDuo 2 at Deaf Day 2013 in London. Deaf Day is an event where 3,000 deaf and hard of hearing people gather at one location in a huge annual event – packed full of exhibitions, workshops and entertainment geared to everyone who is interested in deaf issues.
A surprise visit by sComm VP Emma Curry marked the beginning of a busy week which saw Mrs Curry whisked away to the Parliament of the United Kingdom where a delighted Lord Addington met and discussed total communication for the deaf and hard of hearing with Emma on the UbiDuo 2.

Microlink’s CEO Dr. Nasser Siabi stated, “The UK premier of the UbiDuo 2 could not have come at a better time, when Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals across the UK struggle for total communication equality.”
Dr. Siabi was recently honoured with the distinguished Order of the British Empire Award (OBE) for his work in breaking down barriers for individuals with disabilities.
Not one to sit around idly, a supercharged Emma Curry travelled across London to discuss deaf communication with various stakeholders in the deaf world including local councils and members of Action on Hearing Loss.
