sComm is seeking a Full Time Medical Clerk Appointment Coordinator to join our team. Applicant should have 1 to 2 years of experience scheduling medical appointments. Applicant will schedule appointments with medical personnel, speech language pathologist, clinics and doctors offices for our patients.
Incumbent will train for progressively more responsible duties coordinating with Private Insurance.

This position is located in our downtown Raytown office. We are the only approved 2-way communication device for the deaf with Medicare and private insurance coverage nationwide. Familiar with Excel, Google Docs, CRM
Knowledge of medical and insurance or scheduling appointment terminology a plus
A strong desire to help deaf and hard of hearing individuals
Schedule Doctor and Speech Language Pathology (SLP) appointments
Obtain and review Speech Language Pathology evaluation reports
Obtain and review prescriptions from doctor offices
Copying documents and faxing information speech language pathologists, doctors offices and clinics.
Filing patient files, handling correspondence, and maintaining data using computer or manual systems
Maintain and assure security measures are followed according to HIPAA rule
Base salary with bonus plan
Commission plan based on claims
3 weeks of vacation
401k with 4% match
