Happy Holidays from sComm!

Don’t Let the Grinch Steal Face-to-Face Communications Just like the Grinch who stole Christmas in the famous Dr. Seuss book,Communiphobia has stolen face-to-face communication from people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing.Communiphobia is the terrifying fear of no communication – when people freeze up in fear that they won’t be able to communicate.
Holiday celebrations can be lonely for people who are deaf or hard of hearing when everyone else around them is hearing. It’s especially bad when people have Communiphobia. What is supposed to be a fun time celebrating family, friends, and the holidays can turn into a time of isolation for people who cannot hear. Thankfully, the UbiDuo has crushed the Communiphobia Grinch and given so many people the spirit of face-to-face communication with their families, friends, and co-workers. The UbiDuo has empowered deaf or hard of hearing people like James Harold ,Greg Gunderson,Greg Carrier, and Peter Downey to interact with the people around them who can hear. They feel the spirit of independence and freedom and can enjoy taking relationships to a deeper level. UbiDuo Price Increase in 2012 The economy over the last couple of years has impacted the cost of manufacturing parts for the UbiDuo. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year In 2011, you learned about Communiphobia and how it’s a paralyzing barrier to face-to-face communication. As we wrap up another year of empowering people who are deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing with the freedom to communicate with each other anytime, anywhere, we at sComm want to thank you for your continued support of the UbiDuo and the fight against Communiphobia. Your support helps sComm keep up itsmission of providing the UbiDuo, which allows everyone to enjoy equal opportunities and freedom in employment, education, and social situations. In this season of giving, we at sComm want to thank you for sharing the gift of communication with your purchase of the UbiDuo for your colleagues, clients, friends, or family. Our best wishes to you for a joyful holiday season and a successful and prosperous new year. Happy 2012!
