sComm is seeking a full time Appointment Setter to join our team. sComm is the engineer and manufacturer of the UbiDuo communication device. The UbiDuo is a communication device that enables a deaf and a hearing person to interact with each other face-to-face when the interpreter is not available. This position is located in our downtown Raytown office. We are the only approved communication device for the deaf with Medicare and private insurance nationwide. We are growing rapidly.

sComm is a fast-growing privately owned company who is seeking a motivated and energetic individual who enjoys doing impactful work in a fast-paced business environment to join our sales team as a Professional Appointment Setter. Our ideal candidate is able to use their business knowledge and talents to engage potential and existing customers and increase B2B sales through outbound calling. This is a results-based position that gives you the exciting opportunity to connect with multiple verticals of business that work with the deaf, hard of hearing, and late deafened.
•Sales Skills – Basic knowledge of sales principals. Ability to garner interest in sComm products for working with the deaf, hard of hearing, and late deafened in educational facilities, government business sector, law enforcement, medical service providers, and other B2B markets.
•Customer Service Experience – Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment. However, any kind of retail customer service is usually helpful for this position and will be considered. Experience with B2B sales desired.
•Data Entry Skills – Skilled in data entry and data tracking. Ability to enter data in CRM database; typing skills are a must to record data accurately.
•Interpersonal Communication Skills – Excellent with interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written forms. Good phone etiquette.
•Organization Skills – Ability to work with the schedules of multiple salespeople. Must be highly organized individual and be aware what is going on with each salesperson.
•Familiarize yourself with essential details of our products and services.
•Cold call prospective clients using a list provided to you by the Research Team.
•Accept calls from prospective clients as they arise.
•Field basic questions and concerns about the products and services we offer.
•Schedule a consultation/demo between the prospective client and a Sales Representative to discuss benefits of the UbiDuo in their industry.
•Keep a detailed log of calls, including those which were not answered; record all data in the CRM.
•Make efforts to contact prospective clients who you have been unable to contact.
•Inform the Manager of recurrent product-related complaints that warrant addressing.
Work Hours – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Base salary plus CommissionQuarterly Bonus Plan
